Our story

Two continents.One single purpose.

In 1804, Henri Cuvelier founded a wine house in France that would become a reference in Bordeaux for two centuries. The family owns Château Léoville-Poyferré, one of the most prestigious Grand Cru Classé estates in Saint-Julien.

In 1998, Baptiste Cuvelier brought that legacy to the foothills of the Andes. With Michel Rolland's guidance, Cuvelier Los Andes was born in the Uco Valley: 55 hectares of organic and biodynamic viticulture at 3,280 feet above sea level.

"Our vines seem to have found a privileged place on this terrain of alluvial stones and sands, aided by the hot and dry climate of Mendoza, with cool nights typical of the outskirts of the Andes mountain range."
